Saturday, June 27, 2020. Who is open? Who is closed? Confusion clouds an answer. Just when we thought we were on the road to recovery, Florida bans all bars from serving alcohol. Restaurants can serve alcohol to patrons who are dining. We have a fine line of technicality at strip clubs who have a food license. Before I continue, let me go further into the situation.
South Florida is comprised of four counties., Palm Beach, Broward, Miami – Dade and Monroe.Monroe, which is the Florida Keys often does not consider itself part of South Florida nor even Florida, but that is another story all together.
There are no clubs open in Palm Beach County. In Broward all the clubs are also closed with the exception of Take 1 which is bikini bar with a different license. Goldfinger and Vegas Cabaret were serving lunch but with no dancers.
In Miami Dade they permitted clubs with full kitchens to open and some did. Some took advantage, others did not. In Montoe the clubs are open with entertainers.
On June 26 the governor suspended alcohol beverage sales in all bars in Florida. Masks are mandatory and Miami=Dade will now fine $500 for going our in public without a mask.
Social distancing is a 6′ rule and occupancy is limited infall places of business.
More bad news. Both Miami-Dade and Broward Counties are closing their beaches for the 4th of July weekend. No fireworks this year!
This is hesitation today, Monday may bring something new. We advising all our readers to call the club before you head out to find out if they are open, have dancers and are serving alcohol.
We are going to post some graphics we found on Facebook yesterday and today. Here they are:
