Dear Xcitement Magazine,
First of all, I love you guys and you always take the best pictures at these competitions. Mr. Kent also is a wizard when it comes to food places, who would have known! I’ve been to several pageants and have won 35 titles! 27 titles were with the Miss Exotic Pageant Series! Since my first pageant I was hooked! The friendship’s that you create are out of this world! Furthermore, the amount of people willing to go out of their way to ensure your show goes perfectly is astonishing. Ive been to several pageants and have won 27 titles!
It’s not about the titles though, with Gracie Cardoso you grow as a performer and as a feature and several doors are opened for you that would not otherwise have even been there. Not only do I get to travel the United States, I get to improve my craft by being guided by Gracie and some of my favorite features who have been blowing people away for awhile including Shay Lynn and Zuma. When you keep your heart and ears open, there is advice that is golden, ready to be recieved.
With that said, I still have a lot to learn about the feature world. However, with this group of individuals I’ve gone from my one 10th place award and zero publications to 35 awards and 16 publications in a matter of 3 years. Ive developed friendships that are timeless and priceless. Ive created relationships in the industry with clubs, photographers and magazines. I went from never being booked to finally having atleast one a month, which was a big achievement for me. The Miss Exotic Pageant Series gives me the drive to keep improving and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
I’m still a newer feature but with the confidence I’ve gained from the Pageant world, ill be a small feature in a very big crown.
